Daily Conditions Report for Saturday, April 10, 2021
Operating Hours: 9 am to 4 pm

It may be April but winter hasn’t quite given up yet. At 5 am it is currently snowing pretty hard sideways and it looks like it is not really planning to stop for a few hours. Today’s forecast calls for a high of 33° with 1 inch of snow expected to fall overnight and another 1 to 2 inches expected today and winds 23 to 28 miles per hour gusting up to 41. The wind and snow should both drop off a little going into the afternoon but today is definitely not a day for the weak of heart or the short on gear. Not to fear, however, we will be back to those warm sunny spring conditions tomorrow. Skiing surfaces today will be power-tilled and with a little drifted-in fresh snow over them. At the rate the sun has been taking our base we’ll take any little bit we can get.

COVID-19 case numbers are going down and vaccination numbers are going up but even with the vaccine on board there is a chance it may still be possible to spread the virus to non-vaccinated people. In the interest of helping protect all of our guests and staff, please join us in masking up in common areas and continuing to take precautions at Hoodoo through the end of the season. The virus only reproduces and mutates if it infects a host, let’s not give it a chance to do so at Hoodoo.

There are no reservations or passes required to park at Hoodoo. Parking is on a first come, first served basis.

We do not require an Oregon Sno Park permit to park at Hoodoo. Oregon Sno Park permits are required at nearby Ray Benson and Santiam Sno parks, and to park on the access road.

There is currently no sledding allowed anywhere on the Hoodoo property.
The Autobahn tube hill is closed.

Base: 89 inches.

At 5 am there has only been a dusting of new snow since yesterday.

Skiing surfaces: Power-tilled with some drifted snow on top.

Keep checking this page for the latest updates and conditions and enjoy a stormy day at Hoodoo!
