
NEW YEAR’S EVE
An all-day party on the mountain. Lifts run from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., special dinner menu, live music in the lodge until midnight and a professional fireworks show on the mountain shortly after 9 p.m. It’s a great family-friendly atmosphere for New Year’s and non-skiing guests are welcome to come hang out in the lodge and enjoy the free live music.

SKIBIKE FESTIVAL
The Hoodoo Skibike festival celebrates our love of alternative sports at Hoodoo. Hoodoo is unique in allowing full-mountain access for skibikes, Trikkes, snowskates and snow scoots. Skibiking is a fun, easy-to-learn activity that provides a safe and low-impact way to hit the slopes. This event is great for seasoned skibikers and for those who have always wanted to try the sport.

A day to try out new gear on the mountain (demos are free, lift ticket required to ski and ride on the mountain). Vendors are onsite to answer questions, give advice and help guests make decisions on the type of gear they want to test out on the slopes.

VIKING FEST
Skol! Grab your free-heel skis and get ready for a fun-filled day of lessons, stories and Nordic culture at Hoodoo. All events are free and family friendly. Activities include a race course with arrow shooting and ax throwing, Viking sword decorating and more!

RODEO DAY
Rodeo Day is a time to celebrate the spirit of the wild west on the slopes. We have a chili cook-off and free rides on a mechanical bull in the lodge. It’s a good time to enjoy some free chili, ride the bull and enjoy the spirit of the West at one of the oldest ski areas in the region.
