Viking Fest presented by Sons of Norway and Ski Bums Garage

Grab your free-heel skis and get ready for a fun-filled day of Telemark tips, stories and Nordic culture at Hoodoo. All events are free and family friendly. Activities include a race course with arrow shooting and ax throwing, Viking sword decorating and more! Plus vendor booths including gear demos, chocolate and Scandinavia-inspired handmade goods.

Viking-Fest 2022 Schedule

7-8:30 : Registration Set-up (Set-Up volunteers please arrive at 7am)
(Hot coffee/tea as well as snacks will be available)
8:30 : Registration in the Office(please buy ticket at the window first)

9 : Lifts open

10 : First session of Tele-Tour Groups

11: Second session of Tele-Tour Groups

Noon : Story Time by the fire-pit outside patio (Viking Folk stories For kids)

1 : Kristiana Swoosh/Ofte Lofte Start (Downhill race & Big Air Contest)
(race start is at the top of Blue Valley)

2:30 : Sword Making by the Fire Pit/Son’s of Norway booth at the lodge

3 : Event Clean-up (Voluteers please help breakdown)

4 : Awards by the fire-pit
(Happy Hour beer sales in the bar will support OAS)
